For an engagement weekend, I stayed in the house with the family. There was morning coffee, lunch together, shopping for dinner, and last light on the water. A year later, I returned for the wedding.

My career has included photographing the weddings of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. Those experiences shaped how I work: with preparation, composure, and respect for the people who have invited me into their lives.
Today, I bring that same care to family journeys and celebrations. Some wedding commissions have become relationships lasting sixteen years. Being a familiar, trusted presence is at the heart of my work.

I photographed one family’s wedding. Sixteen years later, I’m still there for their vacations, celebrations, and the everyday milestones as their children grow.
That kind of familiarity is earned. I bring a calm presence, a willingness to help, and the judgment to know when to step forward and when to give people space. Being welcomed into a family’s life is a privilege I never take for granted.
A journey can be the beginning. Over time, your photographer becomes someone everyone knows.

Confidentiality agreements, access to your photographs, and publication preferences are discussed before a commission. Your comfort and your family’s boundaries are part of the conversation from the beginning.

may be wondering.
What does a private family photographer do?
I join your family for a vacation, celebration, or time together, photographing the adventure and the quieter moments so everyone can be present. For travel commissions, I personally select the photographs and design a book that tells the story. You can commission one journey or explore an ongoing relationship.
When will we see our book and photographs?
Your first book design is usually ready within approximately two weeks of your journey or celebration. I present the book first so you can experience the story, then share your gallery after you have had time to review the design. Once you approve the book, allow four to six weeks for production. Additional copies can be arranged for family members or other homes.
How are our digital photographs delivered?
You receive the complete edited collection, including photographs beyond the book, through a private, password-protected gallery. Delivery to your private drive or on a hard drive can also be arranged.
How are travel and accommodations arranged?
Your family or travel team usually coordinates travel and accommodations, though I can arrange my own when helpful. Staying with you or nearby helps me follow the rhythm of your days. We work through the details together before the journey.
Can we commission just one trip or celebration?
Absolutely. You may have one special journey in mind, an anniversary, or a family gathering. An ongoing arrangement is not required.
Can you join us for only part of a trip?
Yes. An extended weekend, several days within a longer vacation, or the whole journey can be discussed. Each commission is arranged around your plans and my availability.
Is a book included with a travel commission?
Yes. I personally curate the photographs and design a custom 10 × 13-inch book. You review the digital design and request changes before it is printed in the United States.
Can our photographs remain private?
Yes. We discuss confidentiality requirements, access to photographs, and publication preferences before the commission begins.
Can our assistant or travel adviser coordinate with you?
Of course. You can contact me directly or have your assistant, family office, or travel adviser begin the conversation and coordinate the details.
